We're looking forward to our 16th season and we're constantly working to improve your fishing experience!

TWO NEW BOATS

We've updated our fleet to provide you with the safest, most reliable boats!

Our aim is to always keep our customers in the safest, most reliable boats available, so we've updated our fleet with two new 29-foot boats in 2008. The new boats feature more deck space, an improved cabin, state-of-the-art electronics, plus Volvo's D-6 diesel for improved speed and fuel economy.

We're looking for names for the new boats with one guiding principle – it has to be a bird. Bird names already used include: Raefan (Danish for Raven), Auk, Shearwater, Loon, Ouzel, Gannet, Kestrel. For more information and instructions on how to submit your ideas, check out our website at www.AnglingUnlimited.com.

REGULATION WATCH

AU places no limits on the experience you will have!

Coast-wide conservation concerns have brought changes regulations for the 2008 season in Southeast Alaska. We will keep you informed by updating the regulations on the Angling Unlimited web site and providing links to Alaska Department of Fish and Game. For details click on: www.AnglingUnlimited.com or www.sf.adfg.state.ak.us/statewide/regulations/seregs.cfm

Angling Unlimited spends a good deal of time, effort, and money working toward the best regulations possible for the guided sport fishery. Our goals are supporting the long term sustainability of the resources as well are fair access to the resource for sport fishers from around the country. If you would like to learn more about a new organization formed by Captain Tom Ohaus and other concerned lodge/charter operators in Southeast Alaska, go to www.seagoalaska.org

Our philosophy toward the fishing remains the same - the fun, the beauty, the experience, and the camaraderie with friends and family remains unchanged - nobody can put a limit on any of these things. We recognize the take home fish are important to your experience; that's why we take such good care of your catch from the moment you catch it until it's hard frozen and boxed for shipment home. Amidst this changing landscape of regulations, we believe that 99% of what people come to Alaska to experience remains right here with the quality of service at Angling Unlimited and on the beautiful salt water wilderness surrounding Sitka.

We look forward to providing you with the experience of a lifetime!
